Israel Iran Conflict: The Israeli army has carried out several attacks on Lebanon in the last four days. The Israel Defense Force (IDF) claims that it has killed 250 fighters, including 20 Hezbollah commanders, in four days of attacks in southern Lebanon.
In fact, earlier this week, on September 30, IDF troops launched targeted ground attacks in southern Lebanon based on accurate intelligence. Most of these attacks were successful and Hezbollah fighters were killed in them. The Israeli army says that with intelligence assistance it killed five battalion commanders, ten company commanders and six platoon commanders of Hezbollah.
The attack is being carried out in separate pieces
Earlier this week, soldiers from the 98th Division were the first to launch targeted attacks on southern Lebanon, followed by soldiers from the Israeli Army’s 36th Division who took the lead and launched airstrikes targeting Hezbollah positions.
Targeting Hezbollah targets through drones
The troops are conducting brigade-level operations, combining air activity with tank and artillery support. During their air strikes, Israeli soldiers are using drones to bomb buildings in which they are getting information about the presence of Hezbollah fighters.
Not only this, Israeli military forces are locating Hezbollah’s weapons warehouses, rocket launchers ready to launch and abandoned Hezbollah explosives. When found, they are also being destroyed. The Israeli Air Force is playing the most important role in this work. She is continuously providing help to her army present on the ground.
